Hyperkin unveils replica Xbox S controller releasing Aug 21

Jun 03, 2024 4:00 PM

After revealing the Hyperkin DuchesS at CES 2024, Hyperkin has announced that the replica of the original Xbox Controller S will be available on August 21 for $49.99. The Hyperkin DuchesS features modern enhancements such as Hall Effect thumbsticks, precision impulse triggers, and a Share Button. This will be the third collaboration between Hyperkin and Microsoft, following replicas of the Xbox Duke and Xbox 360 controllers. Compatibility will span across Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Windows 10/11 PCs. Pre-orders start on July 15 on HyperKin's website and Amazon.

What modern features does the Hyperkin DuchesS include?

The Hyperkin DuchesS includes Hall Effect thumbsticks, modern ergonomics, precision impulse triggers, and a Share Button.

The Hyperkin DuchesS is modeled after the Xbox Controller S, an iconic game controller initially released alongside the original Xbox console in 2002. Known for its compact design and improved ergonomics compared to its predecessor, the Duke, it became a popular choice among gamers. Hyperkin's modern version aims to blend nostalgia with advanced gaming technology.
