Latest GTA Online update brings back major heists

The latest update to Grand Theft Auto Online, titled "The Chop Shop," takes players back to the roots of the franchise with a focus on stealing cars. This new venture pairs up players with Yusuf Amir, a character from GTA 4's The Ballad of Gay Tony, and involves performing a series of high-stakes vehicle thefts in Los Santos. To participate in these criminal enterprises, players must buy The Salvage Yard, set up to plan robberies of sought-after cars and choose between dismantling them for parts or selling them for quick cash. The update also introduces new cars like the Grotti Turismo Omaggio, Declasse Vigero ZX Convertible, and Vapid Aleutian, which can be purchased legitimately. Additionally, successful Salvage Yard missions can unlock exclusive law enforcement vehicles. In other GTA news, there's been a controversy involving a real-life Florida Joker accusing Rockstar Games of using his likeness in the GTA 6 trailer without permission.

The "Chop Shop" update adds a new criminal business involving car theft, a planning wall for organizing vehicle robberies, and a choice to either break down stolen cars for parts or sell them outright. New cars for legal purchase, new drift races, and special law enforcement vehicles unlocked through missions have also been introduced.
