Redfall, a game that launched earlier this year, has finally received an update that introduces a 60 frames per second mode for Xbox Series X/S players. The announcement, which came from publisher Bethesda Softworks, also detailed other changes in the second game update like improved performance across different hardware configurations on PCs and fixes in graphical corruption. Despite being met with much criticism and reports of a difficult development cycle, Bethesda remains optimistic about the future of the game, paralleling its struggles to that of the 2018 action RPG Fallout 76.
This new update also brings several improvements in areas like performance, user interface, accessibility, gameplay, combat, environment, and multiplayer. Among these upgrades are a greater enemy population, a more balanced mission encounter, the addition of unique enemy encounters in Redfall Commons, and added references to the Burial Point district, improvements to multiplayer sessions, and more.
Redfall, a game launched by Arkane, has been rated ESRB: Mature and is available on PC and Xbox Series X/S platforms. Despite its initial rocky start, the game is continuously making changes in an effort to improve and appeal to its player base.
