Early footage from "Beyond Good and Evil 2" has been leaked online, featuring never-before-seen glimpses from the early version of the game. The footage was found in the portfolio of former Ubisoft animator, Damien Barranco, and includes clips from the sequel along with a number of images from other projects including the first "Beyond Good and Evil".

Viewers can spot characters Pey'J, known from the first game, and the new protagonist, Double H, in the leaked scenes. Fans have eagerly awaited news on the sequel since the first CGI trailer was shown by Ubisoft in 2008 and then again in 2017, but not much information has been released since then.

Despite the departure of the game's creator, Michel Ancel, Ubisoft confirmed earlier this year that development on "Beyond Good and Evil 2" is still underway.
