Lorcana Unveils Its Most Potent Strategy, Which Is Quite Comical

In updates from IGN about the Disney Lorcana trading card game, Ravensburger has unveiled the strongest Lorcana card to date: Goofy – Knight for a Day. Despite his comedic disposition, this Goofy card has been represented as a knight with impressive specs, making him an imposing presence in the game. It takes nine ink to play the Goofy card which comes armed with 10 strength, 10 willpower, and four Lore. This makes him the first card with double-digit stats and the highest attack and defense in the game. He also matches the highest Lore count available.

"Lore" functions as victory points in the game and players need to gather 20 to win the round. With four Lore, Goofy's card allows players to progress substantially towards their goal. Currently, only three other cards can rival Goofy's stats: nine-cost Maleficent – Monstrous Dragon, Mickey Mouse – Brave Little Tailor, and Maui – Demigod. According to IGN, even though the stats of these are notable, none of them have effects thus making them unpopular amongst players.

Ravensburger is targeting November 17 for the release of The Rise of the Floodborn in hobby shops, and December 1 for mass-market retail stores. Although there is promising demand for the game, Ravensburger anticipates no difficulties in obtaining Goofy's card.
