Max has officially announced the release dates for two highly anticipated shows: The Last of Us Season 2, set to premiere in spring 2025, and Peacemaker Season 2, coming in August 2025. The Last of Us Season 2 will adapt the acclaimed story from The Last of Us Part II and will feature returning cast members including Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey. Showrunner Craig Mazin hinted at the complexity of the narrative, mentioning that it may take more than one season to fully explore the storyline, with a potential third season and possibly even a fourth on the horizon. Additionally, Kaitlyn Dever will join the cast as Abby, a character crucial to the sequel’s plot. Meanwhile, Peacemaker Season 2 promises to retain the spirit of its predecessor while anchoring itself within the wider DC Universe.
