In the run-up to a grand multiplayer reveal event, game giants Activision and Sledgehammer Games have released a sneak peek at Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer with a stylized trailer. The video showcases a glimpse of new features, maps, and weapons, setting the general atmosphere of the mode without in-depth explanations. Unique to this installment of Modern Warfare 3, players can expect 16 map remakes from the original Modern Warfare 2, including several visible in the trailer such as Highrise, Terminal, Rust, Favela, and others. Ground War maps are also on display, hinting at a higher focus on vehicles in this gameplay mode. Sadly, the trailer doesn't spotlight new gameplay modifications like the Tac-Stance or faster movement. However, it does feature an explosive drone, presumably a Killstreak reward, and an EMP-like effect, likely another Killstreak. For players who find this teaser enticing, the good news is that Modern Warfare 3's beta version will launch this Friday on PlayStation. Additional details about the beta's content and an extended view of the multiplayer mode will be unveiled at the Call of Duty Next event on Thursday. Modern Warfare 3 is set for release on November 10, compatible with PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Notably, any purchase made through links in the original article could generate a small commission for the publisher.
