Modern Warfare 3 PC Specs, Early Game Access and Release Schedule

Oct 31, 2023 1:33 PM

Activision has revealed PC version details for the highly anticipated game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, including system requirements, according to a blog post by IGN's Wesley Yin-Poole. The game will necessitate a substantial 149GB of SSD storage for the initial download, though content can be uninstalled afterwards to access COD HQ and multiplayer only. The recommended PC system requirements are fairly robust, including a minimum of an Intel Core i5-6600 or AMD Ryzen 5 1400 processor, 8 GB of RAM, and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 or AMD Radeon RX 470 graphics card.

The PC version will support Nvidia’s DLSS 3, an AI-powered graphics tech to enhance image quality and responsiveness. This technology will add frame generation for GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs and incorporate Nvidia Reflex low-latency technology. PC preloading is available for those who purchase the game digitally, offering early access from November 1. The official game launch, including the Multiplayer and Zombies modes, will start on November 10.

Significantly, Modern Warfare 3 is the first Call of Duty game to be released after Microsoft’s massive $69 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard. However, it's expected that the game will only be accessible via Game Pass from 2024.
