Moon studios unveils new RPG 'No Rest for the Wicked'

Moon Studios, the creative force behind the acclaimed Ori series, announced their new action-RPG 'No Rest for the Wicked' during The Game Awards, signaling a prominent departure from their previous titles. This new game stands out as Moon Studios aims to contribute their vision to the action-RPG genre they expressed a deep affinity for. 'No Rest for the Wicked' will first arrive on PC via early access in early 2024, with plans for a subsequent full release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X.

Although Moon Studios' prior releases, such as 'Ori and the Blind Forest' and its sequel, were initially Xbox exclusives, 'No Rest for the Wicked' breaks this pattern with its broader platform release strategy, thanks to their publishing deal with Private Division. The game's development began after 'Ori and the Will of the Wisps' launched in 2020, with the team aiming to capture the magic of classic ARPGs while infusing it with Moon's unique art style and creative direction.

The announcement reflects a commitment to originality in visual style and game design, indicative of Moon Studios' brand.
