The decision came from the brand's president of program planning strategy, Jeff Bader, who indicated that the show did not resonate with audiences as anticipated. Despite a recent surge in popularity for the original Suits series on Netflix, the new iteration failed to show growth potentials necessary for renewal. Bader noted that the assessment was based on both linear and digital performance metrics, leading to tough decisions about which shows to continue amid a crowded scheduling format due to increased sports content. The cancellation followed the show's final episode airing on May 11, 2025.
