TOHO Studios has unveiled a fresh poster for their forthcoming kaiju masterpiece, Godzilla Minus One, marking the first local Japanese Godzilla film since Shin Godzilla in 2016. The film, written and directed by Takashi Yamazaki, is set in post-war Japan, devoid of a self-defense force or armaments, confronted by Godzilla.

The narrative centers around the country dealing with Godzilla's arrival while being utterly defenseless. The star-studded cast includes Ryunosuke Kamiki, Minami Hamabe, Yuki Yamada, Munetaka Aoki, Hidetaka Yoshioka, Sakura Ando, and Kuranosuke Sasaki, with music by Naoki Sato.

The movie, also being released in the immersive 4DX theatrical format, will reach US theaters on December 1, with exclusive fan event screenings on November 29 in select premium large format theaters.
