new hero alert: play as overwatch 2's latest support now

Blizzard Entertainment has officially unveiled Juno, the newest support hero for Overwatch 2. Juno will be available for a limited time from July 19 to July 21. Initially teased at Blizzcon 2023, Juno, known as Space Ranger, comes equipped with a mix of offensive and supportive capabilities. Her abilities include Pulsar Torpedoes, Glide Boost, Hyper Ring, and her ultimate, Orbital Ray. Additionally, Xanthe Huynh, known for roles in Hunter x Hunter and Persona 5, is the voice behind Juno. With Juno’s arrival, Overwatch 2’s roster now features increased options for support players, providing a balance to the existing pool of tanks and attack heroes.

Juno’s abilities include Pulsar Torpedoes that can lock onto multiple targets, Glide Boost for swift movement, the Hyper Ring to engage her team, and her ultimate Orbital Ray, which both boosts damage and replenishes health.

Overwatch 2, released in October 2022, is Blizzard’s continuation of the popular team-based shooter. The game builds on its predecessor with new characters, maps, and modes. Overwatch 2 has maintained a significant player base due to its free-to-play model and regular content updates, making new heroes like Juno pivotal for keeping the meta dynamic and engaging for both new and veteran players.
