Jun 07, 2024 9:54 PM

Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind was unveiled at the Summer Game Fest 2024. This game, developed and published by Digital Eclipse, is a retro-inspired cooperative action beat 'em up that incorporates arcade-style shooter levels. It features colorful pixel art reminiscent of the 16-bit era and introduces an original storyline that respects and remixes classic Power Rangers lore. Players will experience a variety of gameplay modes, including brawling, blasting, fighting, and driving through different scenarios. The plot revolves around Robo-Rita, who travels back in time to team up with her younger self, aiming to alter the past and prevent the formation of the Power Rangers. The game is available to wishlist on Steam and will also be released on unspecified consoles. It is expected to launch late this year.

When will Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind be released?

Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind is anticipated to launch in late 2024, although a specific release date has not been confirmed.

The Power Rangers franchise has long captivated audiences since it first aired in 1993. Known for its unique blend of monster-bashing action, colorful costumes, and giant robot battles, it quickly became a cultural phenomenon. The series has seen numerous iterations and remains popular among both new and nostalgic fans. Rita Repulsa, the iconic villain, always seeks new ways to thwart the Power Rangers, and this video game offers a fresh twist on her nefarious plans.
