New Spy x Family Studio Revives Classic Samurai Anime

WIT Studio is developing a new anime adaptation of the classic series Yaiba, which follows young samurai Yaiba Kurogane, inspired by historical figure Miyamoto Musashi. WIT Studio has gained recognition for previous works such as Spy x Family and is also remaking One Piece. The new adaptation features direction from Takahiro Hasui and character design by Yoshimichi Kameda. Notably, the original 1993 adaptation spanned 52 episodes, and the new version will see the return of the original voice actor for Yaiba.
