Nickelodeon's second All-Star Brawl unveils 4 extra characters, substantiating prior leaks

Oct 31, 2023 8:51 PM

In a recent announcement, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 unveiled four DLC characters that will join the game's roster in 2024. These include Mr. Krabs from SpongeBob, Rocksteady from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and both Zuko and Iroh from Avatar: The Last Airbender. This confirmation was made through the official Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 account on Twitter.

In addition to the new characters, an all-new roguelite story campaign was unveiled via a trailer. There is also speculation regarding more DLC characters being announced following this initial wave, with timing projected to be next year.

A point worth noting is that these new additions corroborate with a leak on Reddit that occurred earlier this year, which had stirred controversy due to the game's roster already boasting characters from SpongeBob, Avatar, and TMNT.

GameMill Entertainment, the publisher of All-Star Brawl, recently made news for Skull Island: Rise of Kong's poor reception and questionable work practices such as allowing its developers only a year to build the game. Further information is available on The Verge.
