Nicolas Cage’s Spider-Man Noir series, now officially titled Spider-Noir, has secured New Girl and Fargo actor Lamorne Morris as a series regular. Morris will portray Robbie Robertson, described as a dedicated journalist navigating the challenges of being a black professional in 1930s New York. This Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television project highlights Robertson’s tenacity in pursuing risky stories to advance his career. Expected to premiere on MGM+ domestically and Prime Video globally, Spider-Noir follows an aging private investigator, played by Cage, who contends with his past life as New York's sole superhero. The series is being produced by Phil Lord, Chris Miller, and Amy Pascal, who also worked on Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse where Cage voiced Spider-Man Noir.

Spider-Noir is part of the expanding Spider-Verse, initially spotlighted in Sony’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, where Nicolas Cage lent his voice to the noir-inspired Spider-Man. The choice to refocus the series name to Spider-Noir further cements its connections to the beloved Spider-Man universe.
