The June 2024 Nintendo Direct event unveiled "Mario & Luigi: Brothership," marking the franchise's first new game in almost nine years. Set for release on November 7, 2024, the game brings a "seafaring adventure" where Mario and Luigi explore mysterious islands within the vast world of Concordia. Players will enjoy evolved Bros. moves and a dynamic twist on traditional turn-based combat as they navigate Shipshape Island, which is part ship and part island. Familiar faces from the Mushroom Kingdom, like Peach and Bowser, will make appearances, and new friends will aid the brothers in their journey.
