GAME lists some of these editions slightly higher at £67. Players who already own the original Switch versions can purchase an upgrade pack to access exclusive features tailored for the Switch 2. New features include Zelda Notes for Tears of the Kingdom, enhancing gameplay by offering a streamlined experience. The Nintendo Switch 2 is set to launch on June 5th, retailing at £395.99, with an option to buy a bundle that includes Mario Kart World for £429.99.

The Switch 2 editions of Zelda games, particularly Tears of the Kingdom, will introduce new features such as Zelda Notes, aimed at enhancing the gameplay experience and providing streamlined adventure support. Additionally, Kirby and the Forgotten Land will feature new content through a remixed campaign called Star-Crossed World.

The Legend of Zelda series has long been a cornerstone of Nintendo's gaming franchise, with games like Breath of the Wild pushing the boundaries of open-world gameplay. The anticipation surrounding the Switch 2 is fueled by the legacy of these past titles, as players are eager to experience enhanced graphics and gameplay mechanics on the new hardware.
