Nvidia Unveils Next-Gen Laptop Graphics at CES 2025

Nvidia has unveiled the RTX 5000 mobile graphics card series at CES 2025, spearheaded by the GeForce RTX 5090. This lineup includes a range of GPUs from the RTX 5060 to the RTX 5090, designed for next-generation gaming laptops from brands like HP, MSI, Alienware, and Asus. Nvidia claims these new mobile GPUs will significantly outperform last generation’s hardware, although they will not match the power of their desktop counterparts. High-performance gaming laptops with the RTX 5090 are expected to become available in stores in March, enhancing the 4K gaming experience.

The RTX 5000 series, particularly the RTX 5090, promises substantial enhancements in performance, especially for 4K gaming. With advancements in ray tracing capabilities and overall speed, these new GPUs are expected to handle demanding titles much better than previous models, making high-end gaming laptops more viable for 4K gaming.
