Perfect Dark reboot gameplay revealed

Microsoft has unveiled the first gameplay footage for the highly anticipated Perfect Dark reboot, spotlighting stealth and climbing mechanics. The trailer features protagonist Joanna Dark exploring a futuristic version of Cairo, which has been devastated by natural disasters, leaving large regions uninhabitable and dominated by major corporations. Players will have a range of tools at their disposal, including voice deepfake technology to confuse enemies and various lethal and non-lethal weapons. Developed by The Initiative and Crystal Dynamics, the game does not yet have a release window but will be available on Game Pass at launch.

Perfect Dark originally debuted on the Nintendo 64 in 2000, developed by Rare. It was renowned for its innovative gameplay, advanced AI, and engaging story set in a dystopian future.
