One of the key highlights of the game will be the bustling metropolis of Lumiose City, undergoing urban redevelopment to become a shared space for both humans and Pokémon. The announcement also teased the return of the Mega Evolutions mechanic, a fan-favorite feature that has been missing from recent games. Additionally, the inclusion of Zygarde, a legendary Pokémon from the X and Y entries, is suggested by the 'Z' in the new game's title.
