A rare Nintendo 64 controller is soon to be auctioned for more than €1,000. The controller is a special edition made by Foxdata, a company known for making unique patterned N64 controllers in the 90s. Only 800 of these controllers were ever made, and out of these, four distinct patterns exist.
The owner of this controller, a British plumber named Liam Clousdale, received the leopard print patterned controller as a gift from his parents in the 90s, according to the Manchester Evening News. Clousdale fondly remembers playing multiplayer games with his friends, each wanting a unique controller to use. He has kept the controller ever since and only recently discovered its value after contacting Hansons, an auction house.
The auction is to occur later this month. Those who don't want to wait for the auction can find this Foxdata N64 controller on eBay, listed at €1,999. As necessary
when dealing with valuable collector's items, don't forget to thoroughly check the authenticity and condition before purchasing.
