Capcom has announced that Resident Evil Village will be available for iPhone and iPad from 30 October. The release date was revealed after the game was mentioned during the iPhone 15 unveiling event earlier this year.
Although users can download the initial section of the game for free, they will be required to make a payment to unlock the complete game. The complete game is said to cost 4990 yen (about 31.60 euros), according to Gematsu. Additionally, unlocking the Winters Expansion pack will cost 2000 yen (12.66 euros).
Also, Resident Evil 4 Remake is expected to be released for iPhone this year, but a specific date has not been disclosed yet.
The iPhone version of Resident Evil Village is crafted as a direct port. For example, sound settings still let players choose between TV and headphones, instead of smartphone audio. However, one user comment suggested that the game will only be available for iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Another mentioned that the prices visible in the Appstore are higher in contrast.
