Apple is reportedly having production issues with its Vision Pro headset, leading to lower sales estimates. The company's original goal was to sell one million units of the AR-powered headset in 2024, but due to production struggles, they've reduced this figure to less than 400,000 units.

However, some industry insiders suggest that Apple might not even achieve this lowered target. Sources indicate that the tech giant has only placed orders for between 130,000 and 150,000 headsets from certain suppliers.

These production difficulties have also resulted in a delay for a lower-cost variant of the Vision Pro headset. The current model comes with a hefty price tag of $3,499.

Introduced just last month, the Vision Pro headset offers its users an immersive gaming and social media experience, with additional augmented reality applications. However, it remains to be seen whether Apple can navigate through these issues and achieve success with this product.
