Nintendo has reportedly unveiled the Switch 2 to a select group of video game developers. This first introduction was rumored to occur at Gamescom, according to the gaming news site, eurogamer.net.

Primarily, this showcase was to reveal the power of the new handheld gaming console. An improved version of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" was shown as part of the demonstration, but it doesn't essentially imply a re-release of the game.

Earlier speculation suggested that the Switch 2 might launch by 2024. Therefore, this recent presentation by Nintendo might have been to familiarize developers with the new console. On top of this, the existing Switch will receive a wave of new games and remasters this fall. However, no further expectation for "The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom" DLC should be held.
