S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Legends of the Zone Trilogy Gets Much-Anticipated Upgrade

GSC Game World has officially announced the upcoming release of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy - Enhanced Edition, set for May 20. This new version offers upgraded visuals and optimizations for next-gen consoles, including the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. The bundle features remastered versions of the original trilogy: Shadow of Chornobyl, Clear Sky, and Call of Prypiat. Players who own the previous titles on the respective consoles will receive the Enhanced Edition for free. The trilogy, priced at $39.99 for the bundle, allows for various frame-rate options including support for up to 120 FPS on compatible displays. Players are provided with improved graphics and detailed environmental enhancements that will increase immersion.

The new features include enhanced graphics with improved lighting, upscaled textures, and advanced shaders. Different performance modes are available ranging from native 4K/30 FPS to 1080p/60 FPS, along with keyboard and mouse support on consoles, mod support through mod.io, and compatibility with Steam Deck on PC.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is a critically acclaimed series of survival horror first-person shooters set in the post-apocalyptic Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, blending elements of horror, mystery, and intense gameplay.
