Apex Legends is set to roll out its 19th season titled Ignite on October 31st and it's bringing an array of new additions and modifications to the game. Major highlights include the introduction of a new Legend named Conduit, a Filipino character with a focus on healing shields, map changes, cross-progression, and several quality of life improvements. The game has made modifications to several Legends and weapons to keep the game fresh and engaging for the players. As for the weapons, some are seeing slight nerfs and buffs while the Charge Rifle is being adjusted to enhance usability at range.

The biggest map change concerns the planet Gaia which was struck by a severe storm damaging the infrastructure of Stormpoint. After reconstruction attempts by many entities, a reformed Stormpoint with several new Points of Interest (POIs) has been added to the Apex map. In addition, the overall map size has shrunk and there will be no more Prowlers scattered across the map. The new ranking system now includes Promotion Trials, allowing players to gain a new rank by completing trials. Another new feature is cross progression, where players can earn XP for battle pass and gain rewards on any platform.

Apex Legends Season 19 Ignite is launching on all platforms and players will have to log in and accept the update prompt to merge all accounts under one EA ID, which is expected to be a hassle-free process.
