The fifth season of the popular game Halo Infinite, developed by 343 Industries, is set to introduce two new maps and revive an old game mode. The announcement was made in a recently released season trailer. This upcoming season, titled 'Reckoning', will add 'Forbidden' and 'Prism' to its multiplayer maps selection. The 'Forbidden' map is intended for swift, close-range battles, while 'Prism' is more suited for long-range encounters. The game mode 'Extraction' will be making a comeback in this season, a mode first introduced in Halo 4. In 'Extraction', two teams, each consisting of five players, compete against each other with the objective of delivering as many crates as possible to the Extraction point. Halo Infinite season 5: Reckoning will be launched on October 17th and will be playable on Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, and PC.
