Shuhei Yoshida Becomes Duck Mascot by “Complete Serendipity”

Shuhei Yoshida, former PlayStation executive, will lend his voice to a green duck mascot in the upcoming indie game, Promise Mascot Agency. This charming open-world mascot management game, created by Kaizen Game Works, promises a unique blend of quirky gameplay and industry cameos. Unexpectedly, the decision to include voice acting emerged from the game's funding team, Kowloon Nights, who believed it would enhance the game's quality. Yoshida's cameo happened quite by chance, coinciding with his departure from Sony, an event that helped generate buzz around the game's preview.

Yoshida was approached by the developers through a connection made by their Japanese localizer, who used to work with him at PlayStation. His role as a green duck mascot was a perfect fit, and the announcement of his involvement coincided with his exit from Sony.

Promise Mascot Agency is anticipated for release later this year. The game allows players to manage mascots in a colorful, open-world environment filled with eccentric characters. Kaizen Game Works previously gained recognition for their project Paradise Killer, making this new title an exciting addition to their portfolio.
