Insomniac Games, the developer of Spider-Man 2, has sparked speculation about potential Daredevil or Doctor Strange DLC due to an Easter egg discovered in the game. Players found hints at both heroes in Nelson and Murdock's plaque on a building in Hell's Kitchen. The plaque remains in Spider-Man 2 but without any text, leading players to theorize the duo might appear elsewhere in the game later.
Further hinting at future content, a secret room was discovered in a bookshop in the Upper West Side region of the game. The room appears to belong to The Hand, a supervillain organization known for its confrontations with Daredevil in the Marvel comics. However, the room also contains symbols correlating to Doctor Strange, leading to mixed theories about the future developers' plans.
While the developers at Insomniac remained cryptic about the findings, they did not deny the possibility of something exciting in the pipeline. Alongside these findings, they've been teasing a potential Venom spin-off, working on a Wolverine game, and dropping hints for an assured Spider-Man 3. All these suggest that the Marvel's Spider-Man universe is set to expand significantly in the future.
