Remaster of Star Wars: Dark Forces Slated for February 2024 Releasen

The remastered version of the popular Star Wars: Dark Forces video game is set to be released on February 28, 2024, according to the game's developer, Nightdive Studios.

Originally released in 1995 for PC and a year later for PlayStation, the well-regarded Star Wars: Dark Forces now prepares to make a comeback. The upcoming version is slated to maintain the graphic integrity of the beloved classic game while also making it available on modern platforms.

Players will once again step into the shoes of mercenary, Kyle Katarn, embarking on missions for the Rebel Alliance to combat the Empire.

The remastered version of the game is expected to support a resolution of 4K and 120 frames per second on compatible systems. Modern controller support and achievements functionality will also be included, catering to PC gamers specifically.

Nightdive Studios, known for their work on the System Shock-remake and various remasters of classics such as Turok: Dinosaur Hunter, Shadow Man, and Quake 2, will handle the development of this remaster.

Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster is all set to release on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
