Last year's biggest game, Baldur's Gate 3, is set to cross paths with Stardew Valley later this year, courtesy of a modding project. The mod aims to bring beloved characters from Baldur's Gate 3, such as Astarion, Shadowheart, Gale, and Halsin, into the pixelated world of Stardew Valley. However, only Astarion and Halsin will be romanceable initially. The modding team, including XunHe1145, has hinted that the first part of the mod could be released as early as fall or winter of this year.

Mod enthusiasts can look forward to new stores, one of which will feature a restaurant managed by Rolan’s Projection. Although Rolan himself is not a marriable NPC, he will occasionally appear on the map. Those supporting the team’s Patreon will have the opportunity to vote on future marriageable characters after the first part of the mod is released. Additionally, the update mentions the addition of spouse rooms, patios, special furniture, and seasonal outfits for the NPCs.
