Without a specific release date, the 1.6 update was initially introduced in June 2022. Its predecessor, the 1.5 version, was released back in December 2020 and expanded the Stardew universe with features like split-screen multiplayer mode, additional NPCs, more riddles to solve, and new areas for farming. As for the "Stardew Valley" game itself, it has seen enormous success, selling over 20 million copies across various platforms since its first release in 2016. Out of these sales, PC holds the largest share with 13 million copies sold.
