Shift Up, the South Korean developer of the PlayStation 5 exclusive action game Stellar Blade, has rewarded all of its staff with a PS5 Pro and a cash bonus of around $3,400. This generous gesture follows Stellar Blade's successful launch, which sold over one million copies in just two months. While the game received a 7/10 review, praising its action but criticizing its story and characters, Shift Up has continued to enhance the game post-launch, including updates and crossover DLCs. Financially, the game has significantly contributed to the company’s revenue, with nearly $34.6 million reported by the end of September. Looking ahead, Shift Up plans to release Stellar Blade on PC in 2025, and is working on a new project called Project Witches set for a post-2027 release.
