Stellar Blade is being developed by South Korean studio Shift-Up, which has been working on the title since 2019. The game is set in the near future, with humans being banished from Earth following a lost war against an enemy known as NA:tives. Looks like we'll have to be patient for Stellar Blade, but if its rich, combo-centric combat system and post-apocalyptic setting are as polished as they sound, it could very well be worth the wait. Here's hoping the extra dev time means we're in for a smooth, next-gen experience that'll make a mark on the PS5 roster.

Bummer about the wait, but if Stellar Blade is gonna deliver on those sweet, sweet fluid combat moves and next-gen visuals, I'm down to give Shift-Up the time they need to polish every inch. Besides, the PS5 lineup for 2024 just got a little more hype-worthy with this one in the ranks
