Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 won't require a massive 300 GB download as initially feared. Activision clarified concerns after players noticed the game's Xbox store page listing a massive 309.85 GB download size. This misinformation led to widespread panic about storage space implications for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S owners. Activision explained that the listed size includes full installations of Modern Warfare II, Modern Warfare III, Warzone, and content packs in all localized languages. Players will have the option to download only the necessary files for Black Ops 6. More accurate file size details will be shared closer to the game's launch later this year.

Activision has yet to confirm the exact size but assures that it will be significantly smaller than the initially feared 300 GB total.
