Oct 23, 2023 8:00 AM

The system requirements for the PC version of 'Alan Wake 2' have been unveiled by Remedy Entertainment. For those who want to play the game in 4K at 60 frames per second, inclusive of raytracing and pathtracing, a GeForce RTX 4080 is required, according to the revealed system requirements. The minimum requirements demand a GeForce RTX 2060 or Radeon RX 6600, and all settings require at least 16GB of memory and 90GB of SSD storage. Moreover, the use of DLSS 3 or FSR2 is recommended.

In 'Alan Wake 2', players not only control the titular writer but also FBI agent Saga Anderson, who investigates mysterious murders in Bright Falls, leading her to Wake's trail, who disappeared thirteen years ago. Players can switch between these characters, determining what kind of experience they get. The first 'Alan Wake' game released in 2010, follows the titular writer searching for his missing wife in the small town of Bright Falls, appearing to gradually lose his sanity. Remedy Entertainment has other notable games such as 'Control' and 'Quantum Break' to their credit.

The 'Alan Wake 2' game is set to be released next Friday, ten days later than planned, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and the Epic Games Store. Epic Games is the publisher, and currently, there are no plans for a physical release of the game. In addition, a new behind-the-scenes video can also be viewed.
