Game developer The Chinese Room has released a new trailer for its upcoming horror game, Still Wakes the Deep. The trailer was featured during the Xbox Partner Preview-livestream and prominently displays the game's setting, an offshore oil rig in the coast of Scotland.

In this first-person horror game, players find themselves stranded on the oil rig amid a storm, losing all forms of communication and exits. They then must face an unknown evil entity that boards the platform.

Still Wakes the Deep was announced earlier this year and it's expected to launch on Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, and PC in 2024, being immediately included on Xbox Game Pass. The Chinese Room is known for developing popular titles like Dear Esther, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture and Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs.
