These levels provide gamers with a unique look into early development stages of the game, complete with developer commentary. Players can explore new areas such as Sewers, Jackson Party, and Boar Hunt. While details are still under wraps, these additions are expected to enhance the gaming experience.
Apart from the Lost Levels, the PS5 remaster will also include a brand-new gameplay mode called No Return. This mode offers a roguelike survival challenge with twelve distinct levels. Slated for release on January 19, 2024, The Last of Us: Part 2 Remastered promises to bring fresh content and improvements, elevating the title for next-gen console owners. An upgrade option is available for PS4 users of the original game, priced at $10 to transition to the PS5 version. However, there is currently no official word on a PC version release.
