Thief Returns: Experience the VR Adventure at Sony's Showcase

Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow is officially making its debut at the next Sony State of Play event, bringing back the beloved stealth franchise in a VR format. Set to release in 2025 for PSVR2, players will step into the shoes of Magpie, an orphan thief navigating the treacherous streets of The City, ruled by the tyrannical Baron Ulysses Northcrest. The gameplay showcases classic Thief elements, including sneaking, lockpicking, and treasure hunting, all while utilizing VR technology to enhance immersion. The game is being developed by Maze Theory in collaboration with Vertigo Games and Eidos-Montreal.

Gamers can expect a return to the sneaky, atmospheric gameplay that defined the original Thief series, with a focus on stealth mechanics, exploration, and a captivating narrative full of secrets and conspiracies, all experienced in a fully immersive VR environment.
