Nintendo has added three classic games to the Nintendo Switch Online apps, including Castlevania Legends, Devil World, and The Mysterious Murasame Castle. Castlevania Legends, which originated in 1998 on the Game Boy, is a prequel to the well-known Konami series, where players control Sonia Belmont against the Prince of Darkness

The NES game Devil World was among legendary Nintendo creators Shigeru Miyamoto, Takashi Tezuka, and Koji Kondo's first games. The puzzle-adventure game requires players to explore mazes while being at the mercy of a demon, changing the maze's alignment as needed by the demon.

In The Mysterious Murasame Castle, players act as a young samurai apprentice tasked with rescuing Murasame Castle from evil forces in ancient Japan, using a sword and other attacks. Any Nintendo Switch Online subscriber can play these three games
