Cyberpunk 2077, a famous game by CD Projekt Red, is rolling out its first patch following the Phantom Liberty and Update 2.0. Cyberpunk fans can expect the Patch 2.01 to launch today, October 5.

This update was announced via a Twitter post from Marcin Momot, the global community director. He mentioned that Patch 2.01 is ready to roll out now on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and S systems. This patch targets several known issues with Phantom Liberty, including corrupted save data on PS5 and performance problems within the Dogtown area of the expansion.

Numerous changes have been made based on user reports. These tweaks include fixing bugs in Phantom Liberty quests and delivering overall "performance enhancements" for both PC and consoles. With the new update, players can now alternate to arm cyberware while toggling through weapons, and the spooky Night City Police Department car that used to haunt the streets has been taken out.

Phantom Liberty was first launched on September 26, with its foundation built over the course of a few days earlier through the Update 2.0. This update notably improvised features like the perk system and AI, added intriguing additions to the game, and even offered a chance for players to refuse to partake in the extension events, completely locking the missions.

Cyberpunk 2077 has made a massive turnaround with these updates and its anime offshoot, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, achieving a 9/10 review on IGN's scale for tackling different issues and enhancing gameplay experience.

The full patch notes for the update are available on CD Projekt Red's website for further details.
