During the Tokyo Game Show, Bandai Namco presented roughly two hours of gameplay from the upcoming fighter game, Tekken 8. This presentation featured various options and modes from the game, including the Tekken Ball mode, a popular feature from previous versions where players attempt to keep a ball in the air.

In the last week, a closed beta for the game was announced, scheduled to run from October 20 to 23. This beta phase will allow gamers to fight with nineteen characters in six different arenas. Those who wish to participate can apply for the beta on the official website until October 11.

The game is set to officially release for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S on January 26, 2024. Among other items confirmed for the game so far are several characters and the availability of cross-play.

The Tokyo Game Show also featured lengthy gameplay demonstrations for other games, including a half-hour of gameplay from Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
