Game developers Ubisoft have decided to delay the launch of their new shooting game, XDefiant. The announcement was made through social media platforms, no new release date given. The decision came on the heels of an open public playtest where the development team found some inconsistencies that need to be rectified before the official game launch. The exact nature of these issues are yet to be revealed. This isn't the first time XDefiant faced delay, it previously did not comply with the rules on PlayStation and Xbox consoles which also caused a reschedule. Initially, the game was supposed to launch in the summer, then rumors speculated an October release, and now, it's delayed indefinitely. XDefiant is a 6v6 first-person shooter game that integrates various factions from classic Tom Clancy games including Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon, and The Division. These factions include Wolves, Echelon, Cleaners, and Outcasts. Players can select from a range of gadgets along with primary and secondary weapons, to sway the game in their favor, depending on the character type they're controlling. The game is slated to release on platforms including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, and PC.
