Microsoft's Game Pass service is getting a significant upgrade in October, with highly anticipated titles like "Warhammer 40,000: Darktide", "Forza Motorsport" and others announced. From today until the 17th, six new games will be introduced to the service.

Players can look forward to "Like a Dragon: Ishin" making its entrance on the 17th. Meanwhile, "Gotham Knights" is available from today for cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X/S systems, along with "The Lamplighters League". The latter game takes place during the 1930s and features a team of misfits with unique abilities striving to thwart a world-dominating cult.

"Warhammer 40,000: Darktide" will be made available later on the 4th for cloud and Xbox Series X/S play. A co-op action game, it pits players against a sinister threat seeking control of a city. The hotly anticipated "Forza Motorsport", containing over 500 real-world cars, lands on October 10. You can also expect the solo and co-op action-shooter "From Space" on October 12.

Joining the lineup on October 17th is "Like A Dragon: Ishin", a game where players navigate Kyoto to clear their names and end the samurai era.

However, to make way for these new additions, several games will be departing the service, including "Eville", "Overwhelm", "Shenzhen I/O", "The Legend of Tianding", "Trek to Yomi", and "Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion". Players have until October 15 to enjoy these titles, but can also use their Game Pass discount to save them in their library permanently.
