YouTube sensation Markiplier, real name Mark Edward Fischbach, has revealed a blood-drenched teaser for his upcoming movie 'Iron Lung.' The film, "coming soon" to theatres, is an adaptation of the popular 2022 submarine horror video game of the same name, developed by David Szymanski. The game made headlines in June after experiencing a sales boost due to the real-life disappearance of OceanGate's Titan submersible. Szymanski remarked the correlation "feels so wrong".
Markiplier, boasting 35.6 million YouTube subscribers, gained substantial fame for his popular Let’s Play videos on indie horror games, which include 'Iron Lung'. The film teaser showcases a terrifying atmosphere, with Markiplier appearing covered in blood.
Moreover, Markiplier revealed on his YouTube channel reasons behind declining a role in the upcoming 'Five Nights at Freddy’s' film, which he had teased earlier this year. He attributed his decision to a scheduling conflict between the 'Five Nights at Freddy’s' film and 'Iron Lung,' saying it was essentially a case of unfortunate timing. More details on 'Iron Lung' are expected to be released soon.
