Zynga has announced a further delay for its upcoming game Star Wars: Hunters, marking the third postponement for the title. Initially set to release in 2021, the game was previously moved to a 2022 launch window, and then pushed to 2024. The company has cited a desire to ensure the best possible experience for players as the reason for the delay.

The game is focused on online multiplayer battles within the Star Wars universe, allowing players to assemble teams composed of new and unique Star Wars characters ranging from bounty hunters to Rebellion heroes and Imperial Stormtroopers. Gameplay involves fighting in arenas inspired by iconic Star Wars locations, with the game's timeline set between the events of Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. Star Wars: Hunters is expected to become available on Nintendo Switch and mobile devices.
