Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 revealed for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S

Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 has officially been revealed by developers Cold Iron Studios and Daybreak Game Company. The game is a direct sequel to 2021’s Aliens: Fireteam Elite. It’s scheduled to launch in summer 2026 and will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Key features of Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2

This sequel keeps the core third-person PvE shooter gameplay, but there are some major changes. The fireteam size, made up of Colonial Marines, has been expanded from three players to four. This gives players more room to refine their tactics and teamwork.

Another exciting addition is full cross-play support, allowing players on different platforms to squad up together.

New Xenomorphs and improved classes

Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 also introduces new types of Xenomorphs that players will face while moving through different missions. Improvements to the player classes will let players further customize a Specialist class by combining tools and abilities.
