Avengers: Doomsday trailer revealed at CinemaCon 2026

Disney unveiled a new trailer for Avengers: Doomsday during CinemaCon 2026, an event that grabbed the attention of MCU fans. The presentation, led by Kevin Feige, marked the first appearance of Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom in this new footage, which also features plenty of familiar characters from the X-Men, Avengers, and Fantastic Four.

The trailer opens with a shot of the Xavier Institute sign, a clear sign that the X-Men are involved in the story. The voice-over, presumably Downey as Doom, says: "Something is coming, something we may not be able to stop. Before this day is over, we will have to make an unthinkable decision." It is worth noting that Thor delivers a powerful line: "Leave your petty squabbles behind. Take nothing for granted, except this - if you return, we will return as brothers and sisters." That shows the urgency and unity needed to face Doom. Thor meets Doctor Doom and expresses the hope that they will need a miracle to win.

When it seems like all is lost, Chris Evans' Steve Rogers appears with an unexplained height and unusual appearance, and summons Mjolnir from Thor's hand, hinting at possible time-travel or alternate-reality elements. That adds an interesting layer to the story.
