Disney Lorcana: Wilds Unknown brings Pixar to the TCG

The Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game, developed by Ravensburger, revealed plenty of exciting news during a special Lorecast. The upcoming expansion, called Wilds Unknown, introduces Pixar characters to the game for the first time, including beloved figures from Toy Story, Brave, The Incredibles, Monsters, Inc., Coco, and Onward. This expansion marks an important step in the evolution of the Disney Lorcana TCG.

New cards and gameplay mechanics

Wilds Unknown will feature unique cards such as Sid Phillips - Toy Surgeon, Alien - True Believer, The Claw, Babyhead - Leader of Sid's Toys, Hand-In-The-Box - Sid's Toy, and Bouncing Ducky - Sid's Toy. These new cards will also introduce a new classification called Toy. These Toy cards grow stronger as more toys are on the battlefield, adding a dynamic gameplay element to the game’s strategic possibilities.

Release information

The Wilds Unknown expansion launches on May 8, 2026, at local game stores, and will be available at other retailers starting May 15, 2026. Alongside the new cards, the release will also debut a refreshed art style for Enchanted Cards, featuring the Lore Nouveau style inspired by the discovery of new regions in the world of Lorcana.

Special promo box

A Prerelease Box will also be available at launch for Wilds Unknown, containing six booster packs and one of twelve random promo cards. The promo cards include popular characters such as Woody, Ariel, Maleficent, and Cruella de Vil. The box will be available on release day for $39.99.

Future expansions

After Wilds Unknown, players can look forward to Attack of the Vine!, which introduces fan favorites from Monsters, Inc. such as Boo, Mike Wazowski, and Sulley. This expansion is expected on July 17, 2026, in game stores and on July 24, 2026, worldwide. In Q4 2026, the set Hyperia City, based on Coco, will release, followed by an Onward set in Q1 2027.
